It still gives me goosebumps every time I see pictures about the Royal Cremation in Ubud on November 1, 2013. I felt so special that day and there was so much positive energy around. I wrote a piece about it here. I was lucky enough to be there and witness everything.
On that day I was grateful that we were still able to help, care and respect each other, as well as strongly hold onto our local culture. This event proved to me that people can unite and do something good together regardless of social status, political power and anything that might make somebody feel superior to/ inferior to another.
I will share some of the pictures that I took during the ceremony. Hope you enjoy it.
