Lautan Kupu Kupu has six modern single unit villas in the heart of Canggu. The setting is tranquil. The villas are surrounded by rice fields with views overlooking the beach. The units are beautifully decorated with traditional Balinese interiors and wooden furnishings. There’s a large communal area with an open air swimming pool and living room area. Feedback on Agoda is very positive. Guests talk about the convenient location, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Book this if you’re looking for a lovely villa for under $100 a night.

DYI: Best Long Term Villa Rental in Canggu for Under $100

Utama Village from $212 for 7 Nights

The Utama is a villa complex with several properties on the plot. The units are self contained with spacious rooms decorated in pastel colours with drift wood style wooden furniture. The setting is tranquil, with a spacious garden and the whole complex is surrounded by rice fields. The feedback on Agoda is universally positive. The staff are very helpful, the owners are friendly, the pricing is competitive and the beds are very comfortable. The main issue with the villa is that it is only available for a 7 day rental, which is perfect if you’re looking for a longer term rental.

Recommended Villas in Canggu for Under $100

Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa from $42 a Night

Aqua Octaviana is a compact series of villas between Canggu and Umalas. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished with a garden and small swimming. Previous guests left positive reviews about the friendly and helpful staff and the good value for money. The main downside is the out of the way location. You’ll need a form of transport, motorbike or rental car, to get around.

The Apartments Canggu from $40 a Night

The Apartments in Canggu are a series of private properties that look out onto a shared courtyard with a pool. The rooms each have a small patio and open planned sitting room and bedroom with en suite bathroom. Guests compliment the nicely furnished apartments. Negative feedback about the properties include the fact that the properties are a bit difficult to find and the rooms need maintenance. Overall The Apartments are viewed as good value for money for holidaymakers looking for a cheap private property.

Alit Bali Villa from $51 a Night

The Canggu Boutique Villas and Spa from $78 a Night

Canggu Boutique Villas and Spa is our favourite villa for under $100 in Canggu. The villas are compact and nicely furnished with a small front garden and a pool. Reviews left on Agoda compliment the villa for the very friendly and accommodating staff and the affordable price for the amenities. The convenient location and all round good service makes Canggu Boutique Villas and Spa one of the best villas for under $100.

Kampoeng Villa from $85 a Night

Kampoeng Villa Bali offer modern private villas for an affordable price. The villas have an open planned design with the living room opening out onto decking in the garden and a pool. The villas are serviced by a private butler. Guests get a complimentary 30 minute massage and afternoon tea and snacks. Feedback on Agoda compliment the villa as offering excellent value for money.

Special Mention

Villa Berawa is only just more than $100 a night and with the great feedback the villa is receiving we felt it needed to be included in the list of best villas in Canggu for under $100. I hope you will agree.

Villa Berawa is a Javanese themed villa complex. The design of the villas is based on the traditional Joglo with high roofs that keep the air circulating. The villas are surrounded by rice fields and feel secluded yet are conveniently located close to Canggu Club. Guests get complimentary afternoon tea. Feedback on Agoda highlights the excellent service, beautiful service and good food. The only complaint is the temperamental WiFi connection. Even though it’s a bit more than $100 it’s one of the best villas in Canggu.
