And secondly, my future husband and I will be having our honeymoon in Jogja for 5days, February. We will be staying in Adya Nalendra Boutique Hotel. Can I get a car rental with driver on a per day basis (the cost) and also for the driver to bring me to anywhere according to our itenerary?

The weather in February still rainy season. I’ll send through email more details about the car rental, driver and itinerary.
Hi Firsta,
It will be my first time at Jogja and will be arriving on 9th Feb till 14th Feb with another friend. We’re definitely doing the popular temple tour, cycling tour and interested in tubing at Goa Pindul (or Jomblang cave is more worthwhile?). We’ve no idea which area is the best to stay at, any suggestions on accommodation and itinerary for a 5 days 4 nights?

Thanks Firsta.
Hi Gen,
I’ll send more details through email 🙂
Hi Firsta,
My wife and I will be arriving in Yogyakarta on 6 February 2016. We will be in Yogyakarta till 9 February. Plan to walk along Malioboro in the evening on the first day and see Borobudur and Prambanan, Kraton, Taman Sari, etc and some shopping the following days. Could you recommend a non strenuous tour for a couple who are no longer young 🙂 or it would it be better to rent a car with driver for a couple of days?
Hi Idros,
I sent you and email regarding this matter 🙂 Look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Firsta,
My partner and I will be travelling to Jogja for 3D2N in February this year. Though we’ll only be there for such a short time, we plan to book a tour to Borobudor temple to watch the sunrise on our first morning there, and then head to Mount Merapi straight afterwards, on the Lava Jeep tour. Is there a package that could be arranged for us? Looking forward to hearing from you! 🙂
Claire
Hi Claire,
Sent an email to you! 🙂
Hi Firsta,
I am Low from Malaysia. I would like to know the cost about:
(1) the car rental with driver on a per day basis (the cost) and also for the driver to bring me to Borobudor & Prambanan and as many interesting places as possible.
(2) Just rent a car for 3 days and drive on our own.
(3) I would like to know also above price if two single ladies travel in 9-11 August 2016.
Actually is there any public transport directly to Borobudor & Prambanan?
Thank you!
Hi Low, Thank you for getting in touch. I’ll let you know more details through email. Unfortunately, I am not providing a self-drive car. There is a public transport (Trans Jogja) to go from Yogyakarta city center to Prambanan temple (the shelter is just outside the temple). For Borobudur, you can take a Trans Jogja bus to Jombor terminal and continue with a regular bus (don’t know the name) from Jombor terminal to Borobudur temple.
Hi, please give me the details through my email about car rental and also the price to rent a city car (we’re only 2 person). Thanks in advance =)
Hi Margareta, sent 😉
Hi Firsta,
I am Yati from Malaysia. If you may share the details about the car rental, price to rent a city car for 2 person & price for public transport to Borobudur.
Many Thanks! 🙂
Hi Nurhayati,
You can go with Trans Jogja to Jombor terminal (it cost Rp 3,600 per person one day) and from Jombor terminal you should continue with a regular bus. I think it will cost you around Rp 25,000. Hope it helps.
I’ll get in touch through email about the car rental.
Hello, I’m arriving in Jogyakarta around the 11th of Feb, I wonder where I can stay for 2 or 3 nights, traveling most likely by myself and look for a accommodation which is nice and clean and might be easy to get in touch with other travelers, but I don’t want to sleep in a dorm room 🙂 I would like to see the two temple and start early for sunrise at Borobudur and then later the Hindu temple, how much cost a car rental with driver for a day or so? Is it possible to find others to share the costs? Ohh and one more really important thing, do you know if you can store a big bag at the airport for a few weeks or is there areliable post office or other place to store it??? I really like your blog, after rear it I can’t wait to go to Yogykarta! Greetings Mel
Hi Melanie,
I sent an email to you. Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about storage place at / nearby the airport. 🙁

Your Blog is very friendly and informative and thank you. I plan to visit Yogya and Tour Prambanan, Borbodur & Merapi with about 30 -40 persons as a group between August 25th to September 3rd for 3 days and have not finalized the date. Can you suggest some hotels and a tour for this group?

Hi,
i would like to know any transportation i f our planning route /travel
Day 1/2 :from Airport-Gunung Idul/jomblang cave/and all the destination/beach around gunung idul
Day 2: KALIBIRU NATIONAL PARK, GLAGAH BEACH, KEMBANG SOKA WATERFALL
Day 3: BOROBUDUR-MERAPI LAVA TOUR
Day 4: Prambanan, Ratu Boko Palace ,Taman Sari Water Castle
Hi Asha,
Are you travelling alone? If yes, the best way to explore the city is by renting a motorbike. Prambanan temple is so easy to reach with the Trans Jogja bus.
If you have more budget, rent a private car can be more comfortable option.
Hi, we are two person would like to travel one day for Borobudor temple for sunrise and also visiting to prambanan temple, please provide price for rent a car. Tq
