The 34-meter long Tiger Blue is a beautifully designed luxury pinisi schooner. In 2017 she will be sailing around the emerald islands of the Komodo National Park, before moving to Raja Ampat, where she will explore the coral triangle. The average length of a cruise on La Galigo is between 7-11 nights.
The crew of Tiger Blue cater to an international Clientèle. Staff on the ship can speak English, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian and Indonesian. The executive chef prepares gourmet meals or snacks when you request it. Trained instructors manage the dives. Boat Information and Safety Features
Tiger Blue was built in 2008. She is 34 meters long with a cruising speed of 8-10 knots. The boat is powered by a 470 Hp engine. Tiger Blue has two tenders, a 6 meter 10 man boat powered by 150 hp (4 stroke) engine and a 3.8 meter 5 man boat powered by a 50 hp (4 stroke) engine. She is outfitted with modern safety and navigation features including radar, depth sounder, GPS and emergency rafts.
Tiger Blue has three cabin types; twin cabin, double cabin and family cabin. There are a total of 5 en-suite cabins and she can accommodate up to 14 guests. The crew includes an executive chef, kitchen staff and dive instructors. They have first aid training and staff can speak English, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian and Indonesian.
The Komodo National Park offers some of the best diving in Indonesia. You have the chance to do up to 20 dives on the 7 night Komodo trips. Meanwhile you can do up to 18 dives on the Raja Ampat 7 night cruise and up to 28 dives on the 11 night Raja Ampat cruise. Nitrox is available for advanced divers. Keep in mind that you need to have Advanced Open Water Certification for some dive sites.
