The 33-meter long Mermaid II is a modern luxury cruise ship. This year she will take guests along the popular cruising route between Flores and Bali through the Komodo National Park. Guests will have the chance to see the famed Komodo Dragons and dive in some of the most ecologically diverse waters in Indonesia.
Mermaid II is a new vessel built with luxury and comfort in mind. The 11 rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished with all the modern accompaniments that you would expect. The dive instructors are trained to international standards. Three buffet style meals are provided every day as well as snacks. Boat Information and Safety Features
Mermaid II is 33 meters long with a top speed of 12 knots. The boat is powered by a Hino 2 450 Hp engine. Tiger Blue has two 2.7 meter long tenders. She is outfitted with modern safety and navigation features including radar, GPS, life vests and fire alarm plus extinguishers.
Tiger Blue has two cabin types; budget and deluxe cabins. There are a total of 9 cabins and she can accommodate up to 18 guests. The crew includes a chef, kitchen staff and dive instructors. They have first aid training between them the staff can speak English, Spanish and Indonesian.
The Komodo National Park offers some of the best diving in Indonesia. You have the chance to do up to 20 dives on the 7 night Komodo trips. Nitrox is available for advanced divers. Keep in mind that you need to have Advanced Open Water Certification for some dive sites.
