The 36-meter long KM Raja Manta is a modern luxury cruise ship. With a high cruising speed she is free to sail the expansive waters of Indonesia. This year she will take guests to some of the most remote dive sites around the archipelago. She will be sailing around the ecologically diverse waters off the coast of Sulawesi and East Kalimantan.
KM Raja Manta is a new vessel built with luxury and comfort in mind. The 11 rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished with all the modern accompaniments that you would expect. The dive instructors are trained to international standards. Three buffet style meals are provided every day as well as snacks. Boat Information and Safety Features
The Raja Manta was built in 2011. It is 36 meters long with a cruising speed of 10 knots. The boat is powered by two 700 hp Cummins engines. The vessel has two 5.8 meter rubber skiffs powered by 70 hp OBM engines, which are used for diving. The vessel is outfitted with all the modern safety and navigation features that you would expect. This includes radar, depth sounder, GPS and E.P.I.R.B. distress system.
KM Raja Manta has three types of rooms; En-Suite Twin Cabin, Standard Cabin and En-Suite Double Cabin. Up to 18 guests can be accommodated onboard the KM Raja Manta. There are 19 crew members on board the KM Raja Manta. This includes trained chef and kitchen staff, masseurs as well as the dive instructors. Crew have first aid training. Most staff are bilingual and can speak both English and Indonesian.
You will have plenty of opportunity for diving while onboard the KM Raja Manta. The 10 day trips offer up to 28 dives while the 7 day trips offer up to 20 dives. Subject to availability, equipment can be rented onboard ship. Nitrox is available for advanced divers. Keep in mind that you need to have Advanced Open Water Certification for some dive sites.
