The 42-meter long Aurora is a beautifully designed yacht that combines the traditional design of a pinisi trading ship with modern facilities. She normally sails from the picturesque port of Labuan Bajo on the western tip of Flores. In 2017 the Aurora will be sailing around the islands of the Komodo National Park and running the popular route between Komodo and Bali.
Everything has been done to ensure your comfort on the cruise. The crew aims to offer you the best possible diving experience. Trained instructors manage the dives, there’s a marine biologist on board to offer you information about what you see and professional photographer to help you get the best photos. – Park fees for Raja Ampat are USD 130. For Komodo National Park the charge is USD 16 per day. A charge of $75 per day is imposed on all other cruises.
– There is a fuel surcharge and port fee of USD 200 per person for Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea and Maluku and Cederawasih Bay. There are no fuel surcharges for Komodo.

Boat Information and Safety Features
The Aurora was built in 2007 and renovated in 2010. She is 42 meters long with a top speed of 8 knots. The boat is powered by a 420 hp Nissan marinized engine. There are three 4.65 meter skiffs powered by 420 hp Nissan engines, which are used for the dives and visits to islands. She is outfitted with modern safety and navigation features including radar, depth sounder, GPS and E.P.I.R.B. distress system.
The Aurora has two different cabin types; twin cabin and double cabin. There are 8 cabins in all and the vessel can accommodate up to 16 guests. The crew includes trained chef and kitchen staff, dive instructors, photographers and a marine biologist. Crew have first aid training. Members of staff can speak English and Indonesian.
You will have plenty of opportunity for diving while onboard the Aurora (as well as snorkelling). The 7 night cruises offer up to 20 dives and the 10 night trips offer up to 27 dives. Diving equipment can be rented onboard ship. Nitrox is available for advanced divers. Keep in mind that you need to have Advanced Open Water Certification for some dive sites.
