Bali is one of those places you visit where you can really do anything. There are so many things to do on the island (here’s a list with 91 ideas) that it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the possibilities. To keep things simple I’ve teamed up with local companies and independent drivers to offer some of the best activities on the island. Choose a tour according to your interests and then find the activity that’s right for you.

Car Rental

I’ve partnered with my favorite Balinese driver to offer car rentals across Bali. The standard car available to rent is an Inova and can fit up to five passengers. The driver is friendly, experienced and doesn’t send you text messages days after you use him. Minivans can be arranged for larger groups. The price for a car rental is always all-inclusive. All bookings must be made 48 hours in advance.

Mount Batur Trekking

Trekking Mount Batur, in the highlands of Kintamani, is one of the best Bali tours. It takes just 2 hours to climb to the top of the Volcano. This trek is a nice alternative to Mount Agung and is perfect for people who like hiking, but don’t want to spend 6-8 hours climbing. This tour includes pickup and drop off at your hotel.

Mount Agung Trekking

There are two volcanos on Bali, Mount Agung and Mount Batur. If you’ve got the energy and you’re ready for an adventure then I’d definitely recommend trekking Mount Agung. It takes 6-8 hours to trek to the top of the volcano, but the journey is worth it. The views from the top of the volcano will be one of the highlights of your trip to the island. Canyoning in Bali

With beautiful waterfalls and deep canyons, Bali is the perfect place for an adrenaline filled day of adventure. Join a day long canyoning package and abseil down waterfalls, jump off cliffs into icy cold waterfall and slide down rapids. This is an activity for people who love the outdoors and want to have some fun.

White Water Rafting

White water rafting is one of the most popular outdoor activities in Bali. There are two main rivers where you can do the rafting. These are Ayung River, close to Ubud, and Telaga Waja River near the base of Mount Agung. Shared tours to both sites (that include all the essentials plus transport and food) can be booked through Discover Your Indonesia. Press the button below to find out more.
